Whether you’re heading off on a new adventure or making the annual trip to grandma’s house, it is important to keep you and your passengers entertained on the long car journey. Here are five car games to help pass the time while driving to your holiday destination.

1. Name That Tune

This is one classic car game that will never get old. It is fun and simple. A player picks a song and starts singing or humming it. Then other players try to guess the song name. The winner gets to be the singer for the next round. You can also play the first two seconds of a song from a CD in the car or a radio station then have other players guess the name of the song.

2. Car Bingo

Car bingo is an old-fashioned road trip game that is loved by kids and adults alike. Download and print the bingo cards or make a stack of bingo sheets before hitting the road. To make the game interesting, bring cards or sheets with different themes such as the type of vehicles, road signs, wildlife, and landmarks.

3. Six Degrees of Separation

Six degrees of separation is a theory that people are linked by a chain of acquittances of no more than five people. In this game, a player names two different television stars and other players must try to find a link between the two in less than six steps.

4. Football Manager Game

Football management games are great games to play while travelling. They let you manage your own football club, train your team, buy and sell players and manage finances among others. Since you need to take in the sights along the way, make sure to download a online manager game that doesn’t need too much concentration.

5. Racers Vs Cops

This is an excellent option for those who are into car racing games. In this game, you can either be a racer escaping from police cars or a police pursuing street racers. The nice thing about this game is that that it features a multi-player mode which enables you to race with other drivers.Try some of these road trip games and you’ll be surprised by how fun the road trip will be!

Fun things to do during a road trip https://eurocardesign.com/fun-things-to-do-during-a-road-trip/ Thu, 02 Aug 2018 07:53:07 +0000 https://eurocardesign.com/?p=60 Road trips are so much fun but it is easy to get bored with time. Well – here are the different things you can do during a road trip. You can also re-use these hacks whenever there is a ‘backseat awkward’ moment.

1.Play games

You know you are ready for a road trip if you have an array of thrilling games. Ensure you have alternative card games or maybe a trivia set. Treat yourself to several rounds of games. Come up with exciting rewards for the winners and fun consequences for the losers. Adults can also indulge in online games for a more riveting experience. Load up your favorite casino and give some new games a try or play competitively against one another. Most online casinos offer a wide selection of games. From poker to bingo, slots, virtual and live games. You can even play in multiplayer slots as a group, to enhance the experience. It will be all of you, playing one slot at the same time.

2.Eat and drink

Low blood sugar causes laziness, drag and eventually sleep. Avoid boring yourselves to sleep by carrying a wide range of delicacies. Water and energy drinks also help. It’s time for you and your company to have a ‘snack attack.’ Get hold of Muchos, Burritos, crackers and all those guilty pleasures. For today, you are allowed to overlook the calories. Remember to get some fresh oranges, apples and other fruits.

3. Music, Podcast & Karaoke

During road trips, it always starts with switching from one radio station to the other. You could also listen to an engaging podcast. Sometimes, there is nothing good on the radio anymore. So, do karaoke with some friendly competition. Turn up the fun by coming up with an exciting punishment for whoever gets off key.

4. With children

If you have children in your company, play games like the spelling bee, naming items, animals and countries.

Cars: Present and Future https://eurocardesign.com/cars-present-and-future/ Sun, 15 Apr 2018 13:46:32 +0000 https://eurocardesign.com/?p=54 Automobile technology has taken leaps and bounds in recent years, swiftly making the transition from clunky, petrol-infused beasts to silky and futuristic electric cars. And it’s not just in their looks that cars are reaching towards the future; their interiors are also filled with a plethora of gadgets that wouldn’t look out of place in an episode of Star Trek. For instance, these modern cars are almost, but not quite, self-driving. Covered in sensors, these cars can warn the driver when a car is getting too close to anything, from any angle. These sensors have been used for years as far as parking a car is concerned, but now the industry has upped its game, allowing cars to sense those in front and from the side whilst driving. With this new function, coupled with cruise control, the car can all but drive itself, letting the driver have a relatively stress-free journey. These cars also offer internet connectivity. They had already featured GPS navigation systems to prevent you from getting lost, but now they offer the entire internet as well. Long journey times feel much shorter when the internet can be accessed, whether for reading, music or even casino games. The ability to play these games on a phone has already broadened the online gaming horizon, but being able to do so in the comfort of a car, whilst not using valuable data, pushes this domain even further. No games are exempt, and players can enjoy snapping up bonuses, free spins and making wins, all while on the move. In addition, most cars now have charging capabilities, so, even when playing, that battery will never run out. Because everything in modern cars is electronically based, overall car-maintenance is even more important, as a failure can be detrimental to everything: keyless cars can lock you out; a drop in the GPS can see you lost; and the loss of internet can simply bring on boredom.

Luxury options for your car https://eurocardesign.com/luxury-options-for-your-car/ Mon, 01 Jan 2018 13:48:50 +0000 https://eurocardesign.com/?p=45 The car has come a long way from its humble beginnings, starting as a means of transport simply designed to get us from one point to another. As we spend more time in our vehicles, the everyday luxuries and gadgets you have at home can often be found as optional extras for your car. The choice of added luxury items for your car will allow you to remove the boredom of your daily commute and keep everyone entertained.

In-car Wi-Fi routers

These days we want to stay connected wherever we are, even in the car. A car Wi-Fi router allows you to create a hotspot for passengers to use and connect their devices to. Keep the kids amused by streaming TV shows or movies. If you’re looking for games for grownups, you could do worse than a few hands of poker in one of the many online casinos out there. What better way to pass the time on a long journey?

Airscarf

If you have a luxury convertible you will know it’s not practical to have the top down when the weather gets cooler. With an airscarf, heaters surround your upper body with warm air when the top is down, making it easier to keep the top down for longer in the season.

Luxury headliners

Some luxury car manufacturers offer a headliner with built-in lights and other optional extras. The headliner (inside roof panel) can come with built-in twinkling lights to mimic the night sky, great for getting the kids to sleep. There is a luxury option for cars to suit every taste and budget. Top car manufacturers offer their clients just about everything you can think of, from gold leaf paint finishes to luxury iPod dock/full office set up in the back for passengers. Even if your car is not one of the luxury models, you can add a bit of glamour with the in-car gadgets and car kits that are available. Whether you are on the road all the time for work or just use the car for recreation, a luxury accessory will enhance the experience even more.

Alfa Romeo Cars https://eurocardesign.com/alfa-romeo-cars/ Thu, 19 Jun 2014 15:09:52 +0000 https://eurocardesign.com/?p=11 One of Italy’s oldest established car companies, Alfa Romeo was founded in 1910. It has a long and illustrious sporting history too having been involved in motor racing from its early days. The company has been part of the Fiat group since 1986.

Early Days

In its early years Alfa Romeo was best known for its sports cars. The young Enzo Ferrari managed the factory’s racing team in the 1930s before leaving to start his own car company following World War Two. Racing success continued after the war though with Alfas winning the first two Formula One world championships in 1950 and 1951.In 1952 Alfa Romeo produced its first front wheel drive compact car and through the 1960s became known for its sporty saloons and coupés like the Giulia and Alfetta. In the ’70s the Alfasud, built in a new government-financed factory in southern Italy, became a popular choice for those seeking a small, sporty car. It paved the way for the next generation of hot hatchbacks despite having a poor reputation for rust.

Today’s Alfas

Despite sharing many components from the parent Fiat group, the current generation of Alfa Romeos retain a distinctive, sporty style and still appeal to keen drivers. The range starts with the supermini Mito hatchback and progresses through the mid-size Giulietta to the latest 4C coupe. Despite being thoroughly modern, all of the range have nods to Alfa’s heritage – such as the offset front numberplate and distinctive grille – which helps maintain the distinctive image of the marque.

Skoda Cars https://eurocardesign.com/skoda-cars/ Sun, 15 Jun 2014 15:13:00 +0000 https://eurocardesign.com/?p=15 Skoda cars have gone from strength to strength in the past two decades. Once seen as lower class vehicles, the company’s motors have been revitalised since it became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group in 2000.

The smallest car in Skoda’s current range is the Citigo. Effectively, it is a rebadged version of the Volkswagen UP, which was voted as Top Gear Magazine’s ‘Small Car of the Year in 2011 and scooped the What Car? Car of the Year accolade in both 2012 and 2013.Next up in the range is the Fabia. These have been around for some time now, but remain incredibly popular and it’s easy to see why. The modest mini is simply one of the best in its class. Its program is based on Polo MK 4, but it can be bought in saloon and estate version. For those looking for something a little more spacious there is the Octavia. With engine sizes ranging between 1.4 and 2.0 litres, there is an Octavia model for everyone and they’re exception value when compared to sister models, the Audi A3 and Volkswagen Jetta. The Skoda Yeti is family car with a difference. On the fact of it looks like a 4X4, but is available with an engine size of just 1.2 litres. Since its launch in 2009, it has won a myriad of awards and was once described by Jeremy Clarkson as “possibly the best car in the world”.Other Skoda models to consider include the Superb, Roomster and Scout.
